Park System Water Fountains
All water fountains throughout the park system will be shut off for the season on Monday, November 10th. This includes all parks including new "Comfort Cottage" restrooms and Dog Park.
Dog Park: Handicap Parking Open
Handicap parking access is limited to only those with HC license plate and/or current placard - Use of the maintenance access road and/or parking at the dog park is strictly prohibited resulting in loss of membership. All others must use regular parking lots as specified at orientation. Thank you for your compliance.
Central Park Field #3 - CLOSED 2026
Central Park Fields have been renumbered, Fields #1 and #2 - Wells Road access (lower park). Fields #3 and #4 - New Britain Road access (upper park). Field #3 will be closed for rotational maintenance and resting through 2026.
Kids Castle Group Days: UNAVAILABLE
Kids Castle Group Days: have been suspended due to a major park improvement project underway in Central Park. Group Days are anticipated to resume at the completion of the construction project. When available please note that pre-registration, check-in at administrative office and payment upon arrival is required.
CP Park Improvement Construction 2025
Parking Some impact continues as sport court construction continues. Please me mindful when visiting the park and carpool when possible.
Athletic Fields OPEN
All Doylestown Township athletic fields are OPEN for seasonal athletic permit holders.
Pavilion Rentals 2026
Pavilion rental applications for 2026 will be accepted for resident-based rentals beginning February 1st. Non-resident applications will be accepted beginning April 1st.

Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to provide a wide range of parks, programs and services that enhance the Doylestown community. We have seven parks, 30+ miles of trails and over 400 acres of active and passive parkland throughout the township. We strive to preserve, enhance, and protect our parks, facilities and open spaces while maintaining a vision for the future.
