Mission

To maintain public right-of-ways as necessary to promote the health, safety and welfare of the traveling public and Doylestown Township residents.

The Public Works Department of Doylestown Township functions as an extensive department with responsibilities of snow removal, park maintenance, storm water management, road resurfacing traffic signals, transportation, vehicle maintenance, contracted project oversight, building maintenance, leaf collection and public water authority.

The Road Department is responsible for road maintenance, traffic signals, vehicle maintenance, storm water management, snow removal and managing the leaf and yard waste drop off site.

The Parks Department is responsible for park maintenance as well as other overlapping Public Works functions.

All of the Public Works employees work together during events, snow emergencies and addressing homeowners and property owners needs.
