Crime Prevention: The National Crime Prevention Council’s mission is to be the nation’s leader in helping people keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe from crime. Identity Theft:  The Doylestown Township Police Department recognizes the growing problem of identity theft and has been a leader in the investigation of identity theft related crimes.  The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) maintains an excellent website with facts for consumers to fight identity theft and what to do if you are a victim.  You can also download the FTC’s “Taking Charge: Fight Back Against Identity Theft” from us here.

ID Safety An identity theft prevention web site operated by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (I.A.C.P.) and Bank of America. Designed to help consumers and law enforcement combat identity crime.

Megan’s Law:  Here is a link to the Pennsylvania State Police sexual offender database

Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History:  P.A.T.C.H. is a web site run by the Pennsylvania State Police that provides criminal history records checks to organizations and individuals.

Pennsylvania Vehicle Code:  An on-line version of Title 75, the PA Vehicle Code.

Pennsylvania Transportation Code:  An on-line version of Title 67, the PA Transportation Code.  Contains chapter 175, the vehicle inspection regulations.
