The Doylestown Township Police Department does not release police
investigative reports to the public without a subpoena. For those
citizens who need a report for insurance or other purposes, the
Department can issue a Uniform
Investigative Report
(U.I.R.) letter - a summation report that indicates the incident was
reported to the Department. There is a $10.00 fee for the U.I.R.
letter.
Traffic crash (accident) reports
Copies of traffic crash (accident) reports are available at the Department
during normal business hours. There is a $15.00 fee for a basic
report, or a $100.00 fee for a traffic crash reconstruction report. If
photographs were taken by the department, they are available for purchase at
$10.00 each.
