The Internal Revenue Service: IRS Warns of Latest Scam Variation Involving Bogus “Federal Student Tax”

Protect yourself against phones scams and frauds by never wiring money through Western Union or Money Grams unless you have first taken steps to verify the legitimacy of the recipient. In recent months many of these scams have been reported to the Doylestown Township Police Department. These crimes are extremely difficult to investigate and often go unsolved leaving victims to suffer significant financial loss.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has also published what they refer to as the “Dirty Dozen” 2015 tax scams.
