These hours are for Township and County Taxes only

Monday 11AM - 4 PM, Wednesday 11 AM - 7 PM

 

Please refer to your school tax bill for the hours for school tax collections only

Effective only in July, August and October

Reduced hours are Wednesday 3:30 pm to 7 pm

   
  Directions: Route 611 South, turn left on Edison-Furlong Road. Go to the second street on the left, office is the third house on the right.
   
  Any change to a deed for any purpose causes the loss of your homestead exclusion and you must reapply with the County Board of Assessment.

Schedule of Bills and Due Dates for Taxes

   
 

County & Municipal Taxes
County & municipal tax bills are mailed March 1st
2% discount is given if paid by April 30th
Face amount if paid by June 30th
10% penalty starting July 1st

School Property Tax 
School property tax bills are mailed July 1st
2% discount if paid by August 31st
Face amount due if paid by October 31st
10% penalty starting November 1st

  • If a taxpayer has not paid county, school or municipal taxes by December 31st, the local tax collector files liens with the county. After February 1st, the property owner is charged a $15 lien fee and 9% annual interest, in addition to the 10% penalty.
