Town and Country Players (Carousel): Wednesday, June 30 • Chapman Park • 7:00 PM

Carousel, the tragic romantic tale of charismatic Billy Bigelow, the carousel barker, and Julie Jordan, the naive factory girl, has touched the hearts of audiences for over sixty years. Both Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, said that Carousel was their favorite collaboration.  Featuring such beloved tunes as “If I Loved You” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, Carousel was named Time magazine’s “Best Musical of the 20th Century” and is often considered Rodgers & Hammerstein’s finest musical score.

Blackthorn: Wednesday, July 7 • Central Park • 7:00 PM

The East Coast’s Premiere Irish Band presents a fabulous mix of traditional Irish pub songs, dances and contemporary Irish music with a rockin’ beat. “Steady meat-and-spuds rock” for the young and young at heart! Blackthorn is bigger today than they have ever been. Their music continues to evolve and the community that they started in small bars around the Philly area in the 90s continues to grow. Blackthorn is not just a band, it’s an institution. There may be five super talented musicians on the stage but they speak with one voice - Maybe that’s the magic. Join us for a wee bit of Ireland right here in Doylestown.

Boy in the Shade: Wednesday, July 14 • Chapman Park • 7:00 PM

Boy in the Shade is a high-energy concert that combines live music, poetry, imagery, dancing, puppetry, stunts and a whole lot of imagination into an unforgettable theatrical experience. Performing songs from Be The Tree, the follow-up to their breakthrough Riding My First Pony. Boy in the Shade delivers a one-of-a-kind live musical performance of great songs with infectious melodies and meaningful lyrics that capture the rollercoaster experiences of childhood. Children and parents alike are captivated as the live performance of the Boy in the Shade gang -- Boy, Daisy, Shi Guy, Numbers and, of course, Trouble - create a delightful show.

The Bronx Wanderers: Wednesday, July 21 • Central Park • 7:00 PM

...And the crowd goes wild as the group’s sound crescendos, punctuating the finest; the brightest energetic bond between audience and performer. You’ll be dancing in the aisles, applauding and tapping to the ever present beat of “memory gold”. As the saying goes, “when you’re hot, you’re hot!” This statement surely holds true for one New York five-some, that breathes a special heat with song-filled memories from an era of the past from Doo-Wop, Dion, The Jersey Boys and even a little Motown.
