How do I rent a pavilion? Can
you hold a particular pavilion for me until today, tomorrow, etc...?
We do everything on a first-come, first serve basis, so we do not
hold pavilions. If you cannon come into our office during our business
hours, we can fax you a Rental Agreement, but you must fax it back to us
immediately. You must also put your check in the mail on the same day. This
is done with the understanding that if someone comes in prior to us
receiving the prospective renter's check, the pavilion may be given to
person in our office with money to pay for pavilion. No alcoholic beverages
are permitted in the parks and no amplified music (i.e., band, DJ). You can
decorate as long as you take down your decorations and throw out in provided
trash receptacles.
My child has a medical concern,
and cannot continue in a program he is signed up for. Can I get my money
back?
Yes, you may get a refund provided you bring in a doctor's excuse
confirming your child's medical condition.
What happens if it rains the day we have an
open shelter rented? Do we get a rain date or refund?
We cannot offer any rain dates or refunds on pavilion rentals.
Can I ride a motorized bike on the Bike & Hike
trail system?
No, there are no motorized vehicles allowed on the trail system.
This would include motorized scooters, minibikes, etc...
Can we just go and use one of the park's
pavilions, or do we need to reserve it in advance?
While our pavilions are "open to the public," we do offer the
ability to reserve the facility for a particular event. For a nominal fee, a
person may reserve a pavilion. We will post a reservation calendar sign, and
only that party has it for the day during the reserved period.
My child cannot come to two of the four days a
particular program is meeting. Can I only pay a partial fee?
The full fee must be paid. We must employ an instructor to run our
programs, and most of our children's programs have a minimum/maximum limit.
How do I register my child for a park and
recreation program?
All recreation opportunities are posted in the seasonal Program
Guid, which is mailed to residents in January, May and September. To
register, complete the registration form and drop it off/mail it to

accept checks, cash and money orders.
